FAQ

The game is currently English-only, so the menu names below appear as you will see them on screen.

What does the Warden's Charter give?

The start of the game is free. The Warden's Charter is a single purchase, bought once and kept for good. It opens every region including the Anchor Tree, both dungeons and the Anchor Depths, and adds supporter extras: twelve instead of eight hours of offline progress, a second build crew, a banner over the gate, and the Council supplies without videos. Nothing you can buy changes the odds of an Ascension.

How do I get the Warden's Charter purchase back after reinstalling, or on a new device?

Open More and tap Warden's Charter. That screen also opens by itself if you try to enter ground beyond your provisional charter. Tap Restore purchase: the game asks the App Store whether the Apple Account signed in on this device holds a Warden's Charter. This works after a reinstall and on a new device, as long as you sign in with the same Apple Account you bought it with.

What are the Council supplies, and do I have to watch videos?

Council supplies are a small bonus from Dispatch 2 on: thirty minutes of your outpost's income, up to three times a day. Without the Warden's Charter you can get them by watching a short video; with the Charter they come without one. Watching is never required, and there are no banners and no ads you have to watch.

The videos come from Google AdMob. The game never asks for permission to track you across other apps and websites. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google's consent form appears the first time you choose a video; you get the supplies whatever you answer. To change your choice later, open More, then Settings, and tap Privacy options (videos). The privacy policy explains what the videos send to Google.

What are the world tiers Hard and Nightmare?

Once you have beaten the Brood Warden, the world tiers Hard and Nightmare open. They are optional: the Zone fights harder and pays better rewards. You can keep playing on the normal tier as long as you like.

How does the chat work, and what are its rules?

Open the chat with the speech-bubble button over the world, or under More › Chat. Anyone can read it. To write, you need to have reached Dispatch 2, choose a chat name and accept the chat rules, which the game shows before your first message. The chat is public: every player sees your messages together with your chat name and friend code, and messages are deleted after 14 days. The rules, as the game shows them:

  • Be kind. No hate speech, slurs, harassment, threats or sexual content.
  • No spam or advertising, and no links, e-mail addresses or phone numbers.
  • Don't share personal information about yourself or others.
  • Don't pretend to be a moderator or the developer.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive players. You can read the rules again at any time with the gear button in the chat's header, then Chat rules.

How do I report or block someone in the chat?

Tap the message. Choose Report and a reason (abusive or hateful, spam, or something else), or Block player. A message that three different players report is hidden for everyone until a moderator has looked at it. Moderators can remove messages and ban players from writing for 24 hours, 7 days or for good; a banned player can still read and report. Blocking happens only on your device: you no longer see that player's messages, and nobody is told. To undo it, tap the gear button in the chat's header, then Blocked players and Unblock.

Can I change my chat name?

No. You choose the chat name once, before your first message: 3 to 16 characters, unique across all players. Names that pose as staff are refused. If a name is offensive, a moderator can clear it, and its owner then chooses a new one.

How do I reach the moderator?

Write to hello@edenfalls.net, the address at the end of the chat rules. For a report about a message, a screenshot and the chat name help.

How do I move my progress to another device?

A new outpost starts as a guest outpost that belongs to this device. Its progress is backed up to the server, but only Sign in with Apple lets you take it elsewhere. Open More, then Settings, and under Account tap Sign in with Apple. This links the outpost to your Apple Account. On the new device, sign in with the same Apple Account. If that account already carries a different outpost, the game asks which of the two should continue.

How do I delete my account?

Open More, then Settings, and under Account tap Delete account. This removes the outpost, its cloud save, its friend code, its scores and everything you have in the chat, including your messages and your chat name, for good. A Warden's Charter you already bought can still be restored afterwards from the App Store, since that record is kept by Apple, not by us.

Can I play without an internet connection?

Yes. The outpost keeps running fully offline. A connection is only needed for the cloud save, restoring a purchase, mail, the leaderboards, the chat and the optional videos. Without one, the game keeps going and simply tries again later.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds for purchases made in the App Store are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
