Edenfalls: Outpost
What it is
Edenfalls: Outpost is an idle and tycoon game for the phone, played in portrait. In 2053 the Lazarus Council grants you an old lock on the river Ryne under a provisional charter: one wall, one gate, and beyond it the Zone. The contractors you recruit act on their own: they rest, eat and equip themselves at your buildings, then go out through the gate to hunt and bring back biomass, salvage and other spoils. You decide what gets built, who gets bound and when the next Ascension is worth the risk.
What you do
- Build and bind. Expand the outpost, take your contractors through the Binding and, Path by Path, through Ascension. The armor can outgrow the person who carries it.
- Hunt the Zone. Push out along both river banks, from the Cleared Belt to the Anchor Tree, and fight its bosses in raids of up to eight.
- Go down. Two dungeons, the Settling Tanks and Depot Nine, and beyond the Brood Warden the endless Anchor Depths. In Depot Nine and the Depths you choose the doors in a rogue mode.
- Hold the wall. Every kill stirs the Zone: when it moves, a breach hits the wall. And once the first lair has fallen, you can call a siege, a great Host whose columns march on your gates.
- Gear up. Craft arms, armor, kits and relics, grow bio-weapons, and enhance your best pieces.
- Keep going. After the Brood Warden, the world tiers Hard and Nightmare are open to anyone who wants harder fights and better rewards.
- Play with others. A global chat, visits to other Wardens' outposts by friend code, Game Center leaderboards, and cloud saves across devices.
The game takes place a few years before the novels and stands as its own project in the same world: its outpost, its crews and its creatures belong to the game alone and reveal nothing about the story of the books. Only the wider setting and the bio-armor system carry over.
How it is paid for
The start is free. A single purchase, the Warden's Charter, opens every region including the Anchor Tree, both dungeons and the Anchor Depths, and adds supporter extras: twelve instead of eight hours of offline progress, a second build crew, a banner over the gate, and the Council supplies without videos.
Council supplies are a small bonus, thirty minutes of your outpost's income, up to three times a day. Without the Charter you can get them by watching a short, optional video. There are no banners, no forced ads and no loot boxes, and nothing you can buy changes the odds of an Ascension.

The books
The game shares its world with the Edenfalls novels but tells none of their story. Volume 1 is available on Amazon, and its first chapters are free to read on this site.
